The students loved playing indoor soccer! We used two fields and invited members of host families to play with us. The soccer players in the group especially enjoyed playing against the Costa Ricans because it challenged them. The rest of the group loved the exercise and chance to socialize.
Indoor Soccer – June 8th, 2009

We went to Heredia to play Indoor Soccer and members from a few host families tagged along with us. Everyone participated and had a great time. It was a fun way to bond as a group and practice Spanish with the Costa Ricans. Everyone loved that members of all ages from the host families played with us ranging from a small child to a father. In addition, the students enjoyed going to a new place and having more experiences to tell their families.
